The opportunity

Wastewater plants already produce a resource. Most of it is wasted.

Digesters and landfills generate biogas rich in methane and CO₂. It is often flared, vented or used at low value. CMR-Water adds a standardized conversion layer that turns that carbon into transportable, low-carbon products.

Cut methane

Capture and convert methane, with measured slip and avoided baseline emissions.

Protect water

Designed to integrate with treatment, containment and monitoring that safeguard aquifers and surface water.

Recover value

Fuels and chemical intermediates create new revenue and offset whole-life infrastructure cost.

Enable reuse

Fits alongside fit-for-purpose water reuse and nutrient and residual recovery.

How it works

One feed interface. One standard CMR core. Multiple products.

Site-specific engineering is concentrated at the gas, utility, permitting and product-export interfaces; the core is replicated.

Zero harmful discharge

A measurable hierarchy, not a slogan

CMR-Water works inside a broader water resource recovery approach. Performance is measured and independently verified, not assumed.

  1. Prevent untreated releases
  2. Minimize harmful air, liquid and solid discharges
  3. Reuse water and recover carbon, energy and nutrients
  4. Verify results through site-specific MRV

Air

Methane capture, low slip, less flaring

Groundwater

Containment and monitoring

Surface water

Lower pathogen, nutrient and organic loads

Circularity

Water, carbon, nutrient recovery

Product family

Sized by biogas, configured by product

Model numbers follow nominal raw-biogas capacity, so projects scale without redesigning the core.

Products: H₂, NH₃, Fischer-Tropsch liquids, methanol, DME, RNG. Delivery: outright sale, build-own-operate (BOO), build-own-operate-transfer (BOOT) or licensing. Final specifications are project-specific and follow FEED, site data and commercial terms.

Roadmap

From standard design to a global platform

Our 2027–2035 plan is a development pathway, not a guarantee of timing or performance.

2027

Define and standardize

Design basis, feed-gas specification, environmental MRV standard, municipal site-assessment tool and partner framework.

2030–31

Replicate

First commercial systems in Canada and developed markets, first international resource-recovery project, regional EPC and O&M partnerships.

2034–35

Global platform

Multi-country BOO, BOOT and licensing deployments with recurring service and MRV revenue.
